Lumoid by Danese Milano

The ceramic lamp in the shape of pig has been designed by James Irvine in 1991. It’s the unexpected interpretation of a common gesture. Something very typical of those years where all dedicated themselves to seek new languages. The period of transition between the eighties and nineties it was in fact, a period of great expressive tensions and the ceramic was the material that best lent itself to give form to this concerns related to the search for new freedoms.
